We are Florida Minority Baseball Alliance, a committed group of First-Class coaches and community leaders prepared to synergize our efforts to connect, educate and promote the game of baseball to minority players, parents, and coaches across the State of Florida.
MISSION
We will address and challenge the many systemic barriers and negative narratives associated with baseball in urban and underprivileged communities. We will revive, redefine and represent minorities on and off the field.
VISION
The Florida Minority Baseball Alliance is where minority coaches commit to developing leadership, disseminate educational information to players, parents and amateur coaches in the State of Florida. We stand firm in our approach; we believe our representation matters at "ALL levels".
Rick Humphery, Orlando
“Florida has long been one of the top 3 states in the country in terms of producing baseball talent, FMBA is going to make sure that minority kids don't get left behind and that everyone is educated on what it takes to get to the next level from the field to the classroom."
Marvin Green, Tallahassee
"Florida Minority Alliance is bringing all of the pieces together to ensure that minority baseball players are properly trained, properly educated, and properly exposed so they can at least get a fair look."
John Philostin, West Palm Beach
“The information we acquired from the lunch and learn segment at the Florida Shine Classic, was absolutely a privilege.”
